Texas Rangers Dismiss Staff (fishing directory) Members

The Dallas/Fort Worth-based Texas Rangers Major League Baseball group has fired quite a lot of staff members from its front headquarters team. Last month, Hicks claimed that he would be prepared to put up for sale controlling interest in the Rangers firm, due in part because to financial challenges he is coming up against. Earlier this year, Hicks Sports Group, the corporate title for Hicks sports endeavors, defaulted on $525 million in loans backed by the Rangers and the NHLs Dallas Stars. Hicks purchased the Rangers for $250 million in 1998. The prior controlling interest was owned by ex- U.S. President George W. Bush.
